This is the hotel in Maine that my whole family has been staying at every year since I was 8. Today my dad was asking my brother and I if we’d ever want to skip going there one year to go to Italy for a week instead. It was weird because my brother and I instantly said no without even thinking about it, even though we’ve both said how much we want to go to Italy. I think it’s situations like that one that show you what you really value in your life. I’ve been thinking about it all day, and I don’t think there are many things that would make me give up this trip, it’s literally my favorite week of the entire year. Remember to always appreciate the important things in your life that you often overlook, sometimes you forget how important they are.
